Will fulfill all promises made to people of Uttar Pradesh: Yogi

TIL Desk/National/Lucknow/ Hitting out at his predecessor Akhilesh Yadav, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said his government will fulfill the promises made to the people of the state unlike the previous dispensation’s false assurances.

“The government is making continuous efforts in this direction and people of the state have also shown their faith. With such a huge mandate people too have huge expectations and we will fulfill them,” he said at an event. Akhilesh was also present at the event and spoke before Adityanath.

“The BJP always said that five chief ministers used to run the SP govt, but now there are 5 CMs who are running the current government in the state. Also people are still waiting for Rs 15 lakh to be deposited in their bank accounts; let’s hope they get it soon,” he said. In his reply Adityanath said, “Yes, we have made promises to the people of Uttar Pradesh and we will fulfill them.”

He also said that there is no Opposition left in the state and the Samajwadi Party is busy with its internal fight, and the BSP is almost finished. “When we talk about women empowerment it should be of any religion. We all should raise our concerns against issues like triple talaq,” he said.
