'Tum Bin 2' won't suffer due to demonetisation: Anubhav Sinha

TIL Desk Bollywood/ Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha says he is facing issues as far as cash is concerned in his personal life, but he is sure his forthcoming release “Tum Bin 2” won’t suffer due to the demonetisation move by the government.

“Like any commoners, I am affected by demonetisation, but I am hopeful about my film. It won’t suffer at the box office. As a major amount has been recovered, now I am looking forward to a good weekend collection,” Sinha told.

“Tum Bin 2”, produced by T-Series, is releasing on Friday. It is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 14.5 crore, including the cost of production as well as print and publicity. Interestingly, the film is said to have already recovered Rs 12 crore from its music, satellite and digital rights sale.

So, recovering the remaining amount, is not a big task for the producers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes has affected ticket sales of movies.
