Lakhimpur Kheri violence case: Main accused Ashish Mishra granted bail

TIL Desk/National/Lucknow/ Lucknow bench of Allahabad HC grants bail to prime accused Ashish Mishra in Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. He is the son of Union minister Ajay Mishra.

The incident took place on October 3, 2021, in Lakhimpur Kheri where a speeding four-wheeler mowed down four farmers and a local journalist.

The local court in Lakhimpur Kheri had rejected bail applications of all the accused in the case.

Seven accused have filed a bail application in the court of district judge, Lakhimpur Kheri.
