Faisal Khan playing the role of Garud said, “I feel extremely proud to essay the role of Garud. He is the hero everyone needs to hear about. His tales have inspired me, and I hope in due course of time, his selflessness and strong-willed spirit impacts more people. Given the genre it operates in, Garud is letting me explore finer nuances in me as an actor which is an experience I am enjoying. It’s just the start but we are really humbled with all the love that’s already coming our way and I feel grateful for the blessings. I am thrilled beyond words to be in Lucknow and I am looking forward to a fulfilling day ahead with my fans in the city.”

Toral Rasputra essaying the role of Vinta says, “As an actor, the journey in Garud so far has been extremely satisfying. Vinta is a subjugated but strong woman andher unflinching faith in her son is her biggest asset. From language to premise to costumes, working on a mythological show comes with its share of challenges but when you work with a gifted cast and crew, the process becomes much easier. I am really excited to be in Lucknow to share the story of Garud. This city is extremely enriched culturally and I am looking forward to an eventful day here.”

Parul Chauhan who plays the evil Kadru, says “Kadru is a complete contrast to the characters that I have played so far and that’s why I am really enjoying this role with each passing day. It’s not easy to play someone, the audience would love to hate but there lies the win for an actor in being honest to his/her craft. Within a short time, Garud has opened to positive reactions from audiences and it’s only fair, that we share the love far and wide. So, I am really happy to be in Lucknow today and spend a day in the company of my talented cast and amazing fans, while cherishing the old-world beauty of this city.

”Angad Hasija who essays the role of Takshak, says, “Takshak is a very powerful and evil character. A lot of my energy goes into getting into the skin of Takshak and showcasing his ruthlessness and hatred for Garud. It is remarkable how the show has received so much love and appreciation in such a short time. Now that we are at Lucknow, I am really looking forward to having a good time here in this charming city with our awesome fans and we are hoping to make good memories here.” Keep watching Dharm Yoddha Garud, Monday to Saturday at 7PM only on Sony SAB!
