TIL Desk Lucknow/ Threadless Artist Mathiole has rightly said, ‘Art speaks where words are unable to explain’. With an aim to drive young minds to unleash their creativity with its campaign #GetCreativeWithNick, Nickelodeon – the leader in the kids’ entertainment space – celebrated World Creativity & Innovation Week with kids from Colvin Taluqdars’ College {ISC Wing}, providing them with a platform to express themselves through art’s universal language.
The tiny tots enjoyed and had an experience of a lifetime, dancing on the tunes of Rudra title track. This was followed by a fun and creative workshop, engaging the young minds in different art forms such as pebble art and lentil art. The wonderful evening saw the toon enthralling the young fans and engaging with them in different art & craft activities.
The initiative sought to encourage kids to believe creativity is all around us by using the process of creative exploration and self-expression and helping children empower themselves, their immediate surroundings, and their communities. Talking about the initiative, Mr Anoop Raj, Principal at Colvin Taluqdar’s School, ISC wing said “In today’s time it is ess-ential for kids to not only excel in academia but also harness their growth in life skills which can be enhanced by such creative pursuits on a daily basis.
This is a great thought as it not only lets kids interact with their toons on a personal level but also relieves them from their stress. It also helps kids ease the process when they are starting a new academic year. Nickelodeon, as a brand, always reaches out to schools with great initiatives.” Over the years, Nickelodeon has been a pioneer in celebrating World Creativity & Innovation Week by giving a platform to kids to express themselves creatively and this edition also emphasized on creating a liberating space for kids across.
