Ceremonial Parade of Senior Cadre Course -03 Held at Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College, Lucknow

TIL Desk Lucknow/ A ceremonial parade was held at Officers Training College, Army Medical Corps Centre and College, Lucknow as part of the training curriculum of Senior Cadre Course on 07 May 2022. 98 Non-Commissioned Officer who will be assuming higher ranks in times to come were trained at Officers Training College. Military training to brave soldiers at Officers Training College, AMC Centre and College has raised their morale, confidence and self-esteem preparing then to assume Junior Leadership roles with values, ethos and culture of Armed Forces Medical Service as flag bearers effectively. Ceremonial Parade was witnessed by approx 450 persons which included spouse, children and relatives of course NCOs, officials of various medical units in the station and course officers of Medical Officers Junior Command Course (MOJCC), Medical Officers Basic Course (MOBC) and AMC (Non Tech) Post Commission Course.

The parade was marked by military precision and customary elegance. The ceremonial parade was reviewed by Major General JP Prasad, Commandant and Chief Instructor, Officers Training College, AMC Centre & College. Havildar ((X-Ray Assistant (XRA) Partha Maiti of 154 General Hospital was adjudged Best in Drill & Havildar (Psychiatry Nursing Assistant (PNA) Manthri Surinaidu of Military Hospital Jabalpur was adjudged Best in Physical Fitness Test of the course and was awarded Memento and Certificate of Merit by Commandant, Officers Training College. Havildar (X-Ray Assistant (XRA) Jatinderpal Singh of Command Hospital, Central Command, Lucknow was awarded Naik Deepak Singh, Vir Chakra Rolling Trophy and Memento for securing First Position in the course. The award has been instituted in the memory of Naik (Nursing Assistant) Deepak Singh who was awarded Vir Chakra (Posthumous) on 26 Jan 2021 for his unflinching dedication to duty and exceptional courage while being deployed in Eastern Ladakh.

While addressing the young Non Commissioned Officers, Major General JP Prasad exhorted them to uphold the traditions of Army Medical Corps by maintaining the highest order of professional competence. He also advised them to continuously upgrade and build upon the knowledge imparted at Officers Training College and avail the opportunities provided by the Armed Forces, improve their professional aspirations. He re-emphasized the fact that Armed Forces Medical Services stands committed to quality patient care of our troops in field and peace. He complimented all of them for their excellent turnout and meticulous conduct of parade.
