TIL Desk Lucknow/ City International School, Manas Vihar, Indiranagar had its Summer Camp Culmination Day Program on Sundaywith almost 300 children as Participants. The camp has been running for almost last forty days. Children from schools other than CIS, those living in the vicinity too joined the camp in large numbers.
The activities that children learned here ranged from singing, dancing, , instrumental music and public speaking to sports like Taekwando, Football, Basketball, Skating and swimming even as they delved in art forms like Pottery, clay modelling and Art & Craft. The program today began at 8:00 am with the school Prayer. Then song & and dance and other performances took place .
Children and audience together swayed to the soul full music. Some amazing acts were put together by the skating team. Aqua YOGA was what attracted everyone‘s attention what with the yogic patterns put together by the children in water .
Other sporting activities too were appreciated by the audience as they kept glued to their seats enjoying the beautiful tapestry interspersed with music. Art & Craft and Clay Modelling students had put up some amazing work on display which the parents lauded. The program culminated with the certificates of participation distributed to all the children.
Founder Director of City International School Dr. Sunita Gandhi present on the occasion said it is great to see children utilising their summer vacation beautifully and learning lots of meaningful skills. Mr. Robert Gandhi, her son, also present on the occasion said that children here had put up some brillant skills on show . They are simply wonderful.
