TIL Desk Lucknow/ The capital city of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow hosted a special roadshow as a precursor to the biggest trade show on construction and mining, bauma CONEXPO INDIA. With an aim to expedite the development goals of the nation, bauma CONEXPO INDIA – one of India’s largest trade shows – returns after 4 years to contribute towards the country’s green development agenda. With nearly $ 1 trillion in investments outlined by the Government of India towards developing critical infra projects under the National Infrastructure Pipeline, this trade show comes at an opportune time when such projects are being actively fast-tracked throughout the country, particularly in North India. Shri. As one of the largest trade shows for the construction machinery sector, bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2023 is all set to receive phenomenal support from important policy influencers in the Central and State governments, as well as collaborations with key industry associations like ICEMA, BAI, and NAREDCO. This edition is being endorsed by the Honorable Minister for Road, Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari as well as the National Highways Association of India (NHAI) and National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC). Shri. The show will be held in Greater Noida’s India Expo Center where a variety of conferences will be hosted for the construction and mining sector. Furthermore, the trade show will also host specially curated roadshows in Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bangladesh, and Nepal to engage with the main equipment buyer communities. It will also present an unmissable networking opportunity with contractors and builders across Tier 2 and 3 cities of North India through Bharat Nirman Mahotsav, a vehicle that promotes the trade show among the main buyer groups in these cities. One of the key highlights of the trade show is exclusively curated conferences for the mining sector, especially pertaining to energy efficiency and safety measures. Similarly, specialized conferences will also be curated for the construction equipment industry for their skill-building initiatives to create quality jobs in this space. These sessions will be co-created with the industry associations and skill development councils through special training programs, including classroom programs and practical sessions.
