David Beckham meets India and New Zealand players at World Cup semi-final in Mumbai

TIL Desk Sports/ As #SachinTendulkar and #DavidBeckham walked onto the ground amidst loud cheers before India’s World Cup semifnal against New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, a football came rolling towards the soccer legend kicked by none other than #ViratKohli.

Tendulkar and Beckham are in attendance for the match as #UNICEF brand ambassadors and also interacted with members of the Indian cricket team on the ground. The convergence of iconic figures from cricket and football added an extra layer of glamour to the semifinal.
