Over 300 Exhibitors to Participate in UP International Trade Expo
TIL Desk Lucknow/ In a concerted effort to stimulate economic growth and bolster the manufacturing sector in Uttar Pradesh, the UP Chapter of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) is gearing up to host UPITEX. This pivotal five-day event is slated to commence on January 25th and run through January 29th at the prestigious Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. The UPITEX is set to offer significant opportunities for B2C businesses to showcase and sell their products as well. UPITEX is a strategic initiative aimed at unlocking Uttar Pradesh’s potential, focusing on attracting investments and fostering trade. The event aims to position Uttar Pradesh as an economic powerhouse, showcasing sectors such as Agri-Food and Farm, Architecture and Building, Lifestyle and Consumer Expo, Fashion Street and Furniture, Solar Energy, and Automobiles. Dedicated pavilions for each sector will provide a platform for exhibitors and attendees.
The UP International Trade Expo (UPITEX) is set to witness substantial involvement from over 300 exhibitors, both domestic and international. Countries such as Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia, Afghanistan, along with Indian regions like Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh, will actively participate, aiming to boost the state’s trade and commerce. Noteworthy government entities, including the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, Department of Infrastructure Industrial Development Department, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, ODOP, Invest UP, Khadi & Gram Udyog, Jammu & Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO), NABARD, SIDBI, and SBI, are also slated to join this significant event.
Key representatives from PHDCCI shared their insights in response to the upcoming UPITEX. Mr. Hemant Sapra, Co-Chair of the Uttar Pradesh Chapter, PHDCCI, expressed, “UPITEX is a strategic initiative to boost UP’s business landscape, envisioning it as a catalyst for propelling Uttar Pradesh to the forefront of economic development.” Mr. Rajesh Nigam, Co-Chair, highlighted, “Positioning UP as an investment magnet, UPITEX aligns with our goal of fostering economic growth.
