TIL Desk Lucknow:👉Annual Administrative Inspection of 63 UP NCC Battalion was conducted by Brig Neeraj Punetha, Group Commander, NCC Group Headquarters Lucknow on 25 May 2024. Brig Neeraj Punetha was received by Col Harsh Kumar Jha, Commanding Officer & Subedar Major Arvind Kumar Yadav of 63 UP NCC Battalion.
A Guard of Honour was given to the inspecting officer by the Cadets followed by introduction with Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) and PI of the Battalion. Group Commander was briefed about the training activities and achievements of the unit along with Adm officer Lt. Col Rakesh Tiwari on the administrative aspects of the Battalion.
Brig Punetha also visited the Rifle simulator and the newly established Motivation cum info room for the cadets within the premises of Lucknow University. During the interaction with the ANOs he emphassised the role of ANOs in smooth functioning of NCC and selection of cadets for various NCC activities. He also stressed upon the aspect of discipline, character building and values among the cadets for which the onus lies with the ANOs. While interacting with the cadets he encouraged them to continue their pursuit of excellence and to actively contribute to the community through various NCC activities.
The interaction was followed by a high tea with NCC cadets, ANOs and PI staff. A group photograph and signing of visitor book by the inspecting officer culminated the visit who lauded the efforts of the Battalion in maintaining high standards of training and wished the Battalion best in all future endeavors.
