This event is a powerful step towards bridging our state’s deep-rooted agricultural traditions with cutting-edge technology. It aligns with our commitment to utilizing modern techniques and innovative farming practices, supporting our vision of empowering farmers.”

“We aim to modernise their practices and boost the agricultural economy, creating a resilient and sustainable future for one of India’s most vibrant farming landscapes. With vast resources, diverse crop potential, and a strong farming community, our focus is on promoting sustainable practices that increase productivity while preserving our land and resources.” She further added, “With the participation of leading global agri-tech experts, CII Agro Tech India – Krishi Bharat reinforces our commitment to elevating agricultural standards in Uttar Pradesh and ensuring economic empowerment for our farmers.

She emphasized that the welfare of farmers is the government’s top priority, and to achieve this, we must boost productivity in the state. “The government is making every effort to provide incentives and subsidies to farmers for machinery, equipment and other instruments needed for progressive farming.

“At Krishi Bharat, companies from across the country and abroad will showcase their products. We have engaged with agricultural institutions and universities to ensure maximum farmer participation in this event. If farmers think beyond traditional crops like wheat and rice and explore other options, they could benefit even more,” said Ms. Monika Garg.

Speaking about DAP fertilizer, she stated, “There is no shortage of fertilizers in the state, though supply has been limited due to some international factors. This year, we are providing more fertilizer than we sold last November. The Agriculture Department has recently signed a Government Order, which will increase the availability of fertilizers through cooperative societies. Nearly 30% more fertilizers will now be available to these cooperatives, which will significantly address the supply issue.”
