TIL Desk/National/Mainpuri/ Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today promised to provide one lakh jobs in police in the state if the Samajwadi Party wins the assembly elections in the state. The jobs will be on offer for 10th and 12th pass youth. No interview will be conducted for providing these jobs, Akhilesh said. Akhilesh Yadav was addressing a poll rally in Mainpur, a parliamentary constituency represented by Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav in the Lok Sabha.
* One lakh vacancies for jobs in police will be opened. You only get marks in 10th and 12th and show your ability to run. Come first, you will get the job.
* There will be no interviews for the 10th and 12th pass youth, who apply for police jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
* The US built roads and roads, in turn, shaped America. People will remember the roads built by the Samajwadi Party for next 200-400 years.
* I have no confusion in my mind as to who the Samajwadi Party belongs to. It belongs to Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav. I have not misunderstanding that it is my party.
* The path of politics is serpentine and filled with potholes. No one knows when we might find a ditch on the road.
* Some people put me through very tough test. I can’t imagine what would have happened to me had I had the support of only 10 MLAs and only lightweights were with me (in the struggle for control over the Samajwadi Party).
* Had I not taken the right decision under those circumstances, I don’t know what path I would have chosen.
* This is our election as I also want to be the Chief Minister. We will open all government jobs for the youth of Uttar Pradesh.
