TIL Desk/National/VARANASI/ BJP president Amit Shah said that ‘acche din’ (good days) will come on March 11 after the announcement of UP assembly elections 2017 results. Addressing election rallies in Ballia and Chandauli districts on Monday, Shah said, “Akhilesh babu asks us when achhe din will come. The reply is – by 12 noon on March 11 when Akhilesh government will go, and then BJP will form its government in UP”.
Mocking at Akhilesh Yadav government, he said that UP has become number one in things like murder, rape, theft, abduction. How ‘kaam bolata hai’ (works speak) in UP where there is no power, road and medicine, he wondered and took a potshot on SP-Congress alliance saying, “Do sahebzade hain, ek se maa pareshan hain aur doosare se baap, aur pura UP dono se pareshan hai”.
Accusing the Akhilesh government of creating hurdle before central schemes, he said that the Narendra Modi government sends development projects to UP, but the Akhilesh government stops them. He also targeted BSP supremo Mayawati and said that she claims to make the state free from ‘goonda raj,’ but fields candidates like Mukhtar Ansari.
