TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ Sacked Aam Aadmi Party minister Kapil Mishra, who has in the past three days plunged the state government into a crisis by alleging that chief minister Arvind Kejriwal had accepted Rs 2 crore from minister Satyendra Jain in his presence, on Tuesday challenged AAP chief to enter the electoral contest against him.
“You have everyone on your side and I’m alone. But I am ready to fight… I have learnt to fight corruption from you only,” Mishra said in an early morning press conference in New Delhi. “You take me out of the assembly, it makes no difference. Both of us should resign and contest each other in any seat of a choice. We should fight an election and let the public decide,” he dared Kejriwal.
“The people of Delhi want to speak out. I know it. I have known you Kejriwal ji for 15 years but everything will be clear in the investigation. Satyendar Jain is very rich, he can go to court. I do not even have the money to hire a lawyer,” suspended AAP leader Kapil Mishra added. In an open letter, Mishra also said that he is going to lodge an FIR against Arvind Kejriwal today.
