- Anshika Verma (Rank 1) and Aditi (Rank 2) credit teachers for their success

Barabanki is celebrating a proud academic win as two of its students secured the top ranks in the 2026 Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UP Board) Class 10 examinations.
Anshika Verma scored 97.83% attaining rank 1 while Aditi secured rank 2 with 97.50%. Students of The Modern Academy Inter College, Barabanki, both of them scored a perfect 100 in mathematics.
Anshika said regular school attendance helped her stay consistent, while online classes with PhysicsWallah (PW) after school supported her revision. “My school teachers and parents were my biggest support. What I studied extra after school was online with PW.”
She also clarified rumours doing the rounds on social media about her leveraging multiple coaching classes. “This result is due to my hard work and my teachers’ guidance at school and online and I haven’t studied anywhere else.” She aspires to become an engineer. Her father called it a proud moment and encouraged students to work hard for their dreams.
Aditi, who hopes to study medicine in the future, joined Anshika in her appreciation for her teachers, “I received great guidance from my teachers at school including Mr Shailesh Mishra, Mr Sunil Rajput, and Mr Rajat Soni Sir, my online teachers from PW and especially my elder sister. I knew I would do well but to achieve a state rank is a dream come true.
