Suez, the company responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city’s sewage system, launched a special initiative on the occasion of International Workers’ Day to honor its employees. Speaking at the event, Project Director Rajesh Mathpal inaugurated a dialogue series titled ‘Apni Baat, Apnon Ke Saath’ (Sharing Thoughts with Our Own). He emphasized that this is not merely a formal dialogue, but a sincere endeavor to connect on a deeply personal level with every member of the ‘Lucknow Suez family.’
He stated that through this initiative, they would periodically share their thoughts, experiences, and lessons learned with one another. He firmly believes that when all members of the Suez family work together in unity, it will not only lead to improved project execution but also significantly bolster the city’s objectives regarding development and sanitation.
International Workers’ Day holds special significance, as the very foundation of the company’s operations rests upon its hardworking employees—individuals who, even amidst challenging conditions, ensure the smooth functioning of the city’s Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), pumping stations, and overall sewage infrastructure. It is through their dedicated contributions that the citizens are able to access superior sanitation services and amenities.
On this occasion, Suez also distributed ration kits among its employees as a gesture of gratitude for their efforts. Furthermore, all employees were sensitized once again regarding the importance of adhering to safe work practices, and an appeal was made to strictly observe all necessary safety precautions.
The central message of the program was that the respect, safety, and cooperation of its employees constitute Suez’s greatest strength—and it is precisely through these pillars that the company continues to work ceaselessly towards the development of the city.
