TIL Desk/World/Vatican City/ Pope Francis on Tuesday called for peace and “concrete” aid for the victims of conflicts, the impoverished and the enslaved in the world.
“Let us work together to find concrete solutions to help the poor, refugees, victims of modern forms of slavery, in order to promote peace,” Francis tweeted.
His nine-language @pontifex account has almost 34 million followers, the Twitter-tracking group Twiplomacy reported last month. Twiplomacy tracks the social media use of world leaders.
