Customer-centric businesses and strong professional networks will play a crucial role in helping Uttar Pradesh achieve its ambitious goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy, renowned management expert, international motivational speaker, and Mumbai Dabbawala specialist Dr. Pawan Agrawal said on Saturday.
Addressing BNI NETCON 2026 at The Centrum in Lucknow, Dr. Agrawal emphasized that customer satisfaction must remain at the heart of every business strategy. The event, organized by BNI (Business Network International), one of the world’s leading business networking and referral organizations, brought together more than 900 entrepreneurs, professionals, manufacturers, and industry leaders.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Agrawal said Uttar Pradesh is among the fastest-growing economies in India and is steadily progressing toward Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision of a $1 trillion economy. He stressed that every business activity should be customer-focused and that ensuring complete customer satisfaction is the ethical responsibility of every individual within an organization.
“Success is not achieved merely by selling products or services. Building trust and long-term relationships with customers is equally important. A customer-centric approach enables businesses to stay competitive and contributes significantly to the state’s economic growth,” he said.
Highlighting the importance of structured networking, Sanjay Tiwari, Executive Director of BNI North Lucknow, said that economic development is built on trust-based business relationships. Platforms such as NETCON provide entrepreneurs with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and explore new avenues for growth.
“Strong business networks not only accelerate enterprise growth but also contribute meaningfully to the overall development of Uttar Pradesh’s economy,” Tiwari said.
According to the organizers, NETCON 2026 is expected to generate business opportunities worth over ₹30 crore, more than double the estimated business generated through the previous edition. The last NETCON event witnessed participation from over 725 business owners and professionals, resulting in more than 5,600 referrals and business opportunities exceeding ₹14 crore.
Operating on its globally recognized ‘Givers Gain®’ philosophy, BNI encourages members to share quality referrals and build long-term business relationships. As Uttar Pradesh moves into the next phase of its economic expansion, initiatives such as NETCON are expected to play a vital role in fostering interconnected business communities capable of creating new opportunities, strategic partnerships, and sustainable growth.
