Submit evidence, if any, against Jay in court: Amit Shah

TIL Desk/National/Ahmedabad/ BJP national president Amit Shah has refused to comment on allegations against his son Jay Shah’s company by a web portal saying the matter was sub judice. “However, if anybody has any evidence (against my son), he may submit it in the court,” he added.

Addressing party workers in Gandhidham and Bhavnagar, he said: “For them development is a joke, for us it’s our attitude.” Attacking Rahul, Shah said, “During Congress rule there were only seven universities. Today, the number is 57.”

Countering Rahul’s claim that Gujarat has been ignored by the NDA government at the Centre, Shah said, “The Centre extended all necessary help to Gujarat. We don’t have to give its account.” Shah claimed that 25 lakh people got employment under Centre’s Mudra scheme.

Addressing media at Gandhidham in Kutch, Shah countered Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that no development had taken place in Gujarat under the BJP rule. He claimed that the figures quoted by Rahul during his Navsarjan Yatra were given by some NGOs and were incorrect.
