TIL Desk/National/Mumbai/ Controversial BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha slammed his own party after the debacle it suffered at the hands of the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Samajwadi Party in the recent Uttar Pradesh and Bihar Lok Sabha bypolls.
In a veiled attack on PM Narendra Modi, he said that arrogance, over-confidence and short temper was damaging the saffron party. “I have been repeatedly saying that arrogance, short temper and over confidence are biggest killers in democratic politics, whether it comes from Trump, Mitron or opposition leaders,” Sinha tweeted.
In another tweet, he said that the by-elections’ results were a message from the people to top leadership of the party (read PM and Amit Shah) to fasten their seat belts ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
“Sir.. UP-Bihar by-elections results convey to you and our people to fasten our seat belts,” he tweeted. Sinha warned his party leadership that the future is turbulent for the BJP and that he wished his party gets over this crisis soon.
