TIL Desk/Businesss/New Delhi-Arhar and its dal prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market following fall in demand from retailers coupled with adequate stocks position.
However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in scattered deals and pegged around previous levels. Traders said easing demand from retailers at current levels against ample stocks position on improved supplies from producing regions led to decline in arhar and its dal prices.
In the national capital, arhar and its dal dara variety fell by Rs 100 each to Rs 8,000 and Rs 10,800-12,500 per quintal respectively.
