TIL Desk/National/Chandigarh/ Punjab CM Amarinder Singh Punjab CM Amarinder Singh on Tuesday hit out at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) saying they’d exhibited “shocking double standards on the farmers’ protests” by “shamelessly implementing the draconian” farm law in center of the disaster whereas pretending to be standing with the farmers.
In a press release on Tuesday, Amarinder stated whilst AAP was claiming to be supporting the agitating farmers, the Arvind Kejriwal authorities in Delhi had openly executed the black law via a gazette notification on November 23.
The Delhi authorities has notified one of many three central farm legal guidelines and is analyzing the remaining two, officers stated on Tuesday. The Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Ordinance, 2020 was notified on November 23, stated a senior Delhi authorities official. “The remaining two laws are under examination by the development department of the Delhi government,” he stated.
