TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙAs part of the Phase-1 professional training program for 38 Deputy Collectors—organized by the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management—trainee PCS officers undertook an exposure visit to the 345 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) located at Bharwara.

During the visit, Parth Sarathi Nath, the Plant In-charge of the Bharwara STP (operated by Suez India under the 'One City One Operator' model), provided the officers with key information regarding the plant's operations, the sewage treatment process, and its overall functioning. The officers observed the plant's operations and gained an understanding of the various stages of sewage treatment.

After receiving this briefing, the trainee PCS officers toured the 345 MLD STP complex and closely inspected the various sewage treatment systems. The objective of the exposure visit was to provide the officers with practical knowledge regarding urban sewage management and its effective operation.
