TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙ A special discussion was held today to address the challenges faced by women and girls, the concerns they often keep to themselves, and the rising stress levels caused by the demands of a fast-paced life. Senior experts Dr. Sangeeta Sharma and Dr. Rashmi Soni engaged in an open and insightful conversation, with the attendees about their current mental and emotional well-being, at ‘The La Gardenia Cafe’ in Gomti Nagar Extension.
At the beginning of the programme, Anand Krishna, a founder member of ‘Anandmantraa’, introduced the guests and outlined the purpose of this initiative through online portal www.anandmantraa.com. Inspired by the significance of World Mental Health Day on 10 October and the divine spirit of Nari Shakti celebrated during Navratri, Anandmantraa is being introduced to society on 11 October as a special initiative dedicated to the mental and emotional well-being of women and girls.
Speaking on the subject, Dr. Rashmi Soni said, “In today’s world, the mental pressure caused by balancing family and social responsibilities is steadily increasing. It is essential to recognise this stress in time and share one’s concerns rather than keep them bottled up.”The central theme of the discussion was how women can share their unspoken concerns, emotional pain, and stress with someone they trust, helping them find relief and improve their mental well-being, with help of ‘Anandmantraa’.
Addressing the attendees, Dr. Sangeeta Sharma said, “When the stress and emotional distress experienced by women remain unexpressed, they can have a profound impact on their physical and mental health. Timely access to appropriate counselling and emotional support can help women overcome stress and move forward in life with renewed energy and confidence.”
Rajiv Vyaas, Director, Administration and Technical at Anandmantraa, highlighted the growing need for mental health services in today’s stressful environment. He explained how women can conveniently book a session through the organisation’s website (www.anandmantraa.com) and share their concerns without hesitation.
He further emphasised that Anandmantraa places the utmost importance on the privacy and confidentiality of women using its services. He also shared that the second phase of the project will focus on expanding these services with the support of network partners. The aim is to reach a greater number of women experiencing stress and mental pressure, ensuring that more women can benefit from accessible mental health support.
A woman’s strength is not just in how much she can endure, but also in how freely she can express herself, how confidently she can embrace her emotions, and how comfortably she can seek support when she needs it. True empowerment begins with a healthy mind, emotional well-being, and the freedom to be heard without fear of judgment.
More than just a service, Anandmantraa is a heartfelt commitment to every woman and girl - a space where her voice matters, her feelings are respected, and her experiences are heard with empathy and understanding. Because a healthy mind is not merely an ornament of a woman’s strength; it is the foundation of her confidence, dignity, and empowerment.
Through Anandmantraa, women and girls will have the opportunity to express themselves openly, share their concerns without hesitation, and discover the comfort and healing that come from being truly heard.
