TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙThe Course Ending Parade was held at Officers Training College, Army Medical Corps Centre and College, Lucknow on successful conclusion of Medical Officers Basic Course(MOBC)-259 on 19 Sep 2026.
This course was conducted over 07 weeks from 03 Aug 2026 to 19 Sep 2026 under the mentorship of Maj Gen Anuj Chawla, Commandant & Chief Instructor of Officers Training College (OTC). This course imparts intensive combat medical support training to young Armed Forces Medical and Dental Officers in order to empower them for effectively performing their duties and to transform these young professionals into medical and dental officers in uniform. The officers participated in the Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Provider Course. They were taught to about the latest technologies which are shaping the present generation wars.
The course comprised of 121 officers including 33 lady officers with Tri-Services representation. The parade was marked by military precision and customary elegance. The Course Ending Parade was reviewed by Lt. Gen. J Debnath, Commandant of AMC Centre & College and OIC Records.
Capt Saurabh Singh Yadav was adjudged Best All Round Officer of the Course and was awarded Commandant’s Rolling Trophy and Capt Akash G was also awarded Major Laishram Jyotin Singh, Ashok Chakra Memorial Trophy for being adjudged Best Officer in Field Events.
While addressing the young officers, the Reviewing Officer complimented them for their excellent turnout and meticulous conduct of parade and exhorted them to uphold the traditions of Armed Forces Medical Services by maintaining the highest order of professional competence. The General Officer advised the officers to continuously upgrade and build upon the knowledge imparted at Officers Training College. Stressing upon the opportunities provided by the Armed Forces, he encouraged them to work hard to further their professional aspirations and stand committed to quality patient care for our troops in field and peace.
A large number of Armed Forces Medical Services officers witnessed the parade along with more than 200 proud parents and relatives of the course officers.
