TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙ FinX Institute (formerly BSE Institute) inaugurated its new academic campus at Ratan Square, Vidhan Sabha Marg, Lucknow, on Monday, aiming to equip young people with industry-ready skills and career-oriented education in the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector.

The new campus was jointly inaugurated by Manish Mehta, President and Chief Business Officer of SBI Mutual Fund, and Dr. Sudhanshu Pandya, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur.

The programme began with a welcome address by Virag Jain, Campus Director of FinX Institute. Highlighting the institution's vision, Jain said, “FinX aims to provide quality, industry-oriented education and employment-focused training in banking and financial services to young people in Lucknow and neighbouring regions. Through collaborations with industry and academic institutions, we intend to promote internships, placements and financial literacy. We will also work towards empowering youth from underserved communities with financial skills and positioning Lucknow as a hub for BFSI talent.”

Himanshu Vyapak, CEO of FinX Institute, said the institution was committed to creating opportunities for young people across Uttar Pradesh to pursue careers in banking, capital markets and fintech without having to leave their home city for quality education and professional exposure.

“Our goal is to ensure that young people in Uttar Pradesh have access to quality education, industry exposure and placement support in emerging financial sectors, including banking, capital markets and fintech,” he said.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent representatives from the banking, financial services and insurance industries. These included Sunil Gurnani, State Head of Kotak Bank; Abhay Shukla, Regional Head of ICICI Bank; Anurag Srivastava, State Head of Bandhan Bank; Gaurav Nagar, State Head of Franklin Templeton; Vaibhav Tripathi of HDFC Life; and Praveen Kumar, Vice Chairman of the Lucknow Management Association. Representatives from various universities and academic institutions were also present.

FinX Institute offers a range of degree, diploma and professional certification programmes in banking, finance, capital markets, data science and fintech. The institute trains approximately 10,000 participants annually with the support of more than 300 industry experts. It also maintains partnerships with over 350 colleges and universities across the country.

With the launch of its new Lucknow campus, FinX Institute aims to strengthen access to industry-relevant education, enhance employability and prepare young professionals for the evolving demands of the BFSI sector.
