* More than 60 people availed free consultations from specialist doctors
TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙA free health check-up camp was organised at Amrawati Sports City in collaboration with Medanta Hospital, providing residents and visitors an opportunity to undergo essential health screenings and consult specialist doctors. More than 60 people participated in the camp and benefited from complimentary medical consultations and diagnostic services. The initiative was aimed at encouraging people to prioritise preventive healthcare and identify potential health concerns at an early stage.
As part of the camp, participants underwent several important health assessments, including blood pressure and random blood sugar tests, Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Bone Mineral Density (BMD) assessment and Electrocardiogram (ECG). Following the screenings, specialist doctors reviewed the reports and provided individual medical guidance and recommendations based on the health conditions of the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravi Prakash Pandey, Founder and Chairman, Amrawati Group, said, “At Amrawati, our vision extends beyond creating a modern sports city. We want to build an environment that encourages people to embrace fitness, wellness and a healthier lifestyle. Sports and good health are closely connected, and initiatives such as these help people understand the importance of preventive healthcare. We are pleased to partner with Medanta Hospital to make essential health screenings and expert medical advice accessible to people at Amrawati Sports City.”
The medical experts highlighted that periodic health assessments can play an important role in detecting several health conditions before they become serious. Conditions related to blood pressure and blood sugar may often remain unnoticed in their initial stages as they do not always present visible symptoms. Regular screening, along with timely consultation with a qualified doctor in case of abnormal results or health concerns, can therefore contribute significantly to better health management.
The initiative also focused on promoting preventive healthcare practices and encouraging participants to maintain an active lifestyle, exercise regularly and keep track of their overall health through timely medical check-ups.
