The festival, which commenced today, will continue until September 8, 2026.

Designed around the diverse culinary heritage of Andhra Pradesh and South India’s coastal regions, the festival showcases traditional recipes prepared with aromatic spices, fresh ingredients and time-honoured cooking techniques. The specially curated menu brings together authentic regional flavours with contemporary presentation, creating a distinctive gastronomic experience for guests.

Speaking about the festival, Amit Singh Chauhan, General Manager, Golden Tulip Lucknow, said, “The objective behind organising ‘Dakshin Flavours’ is to bring the rich culinary heritage of South Indian and coastal cuisine to our guests while retaining its authenticity and traditional identity. In keeping with the theme, ‘Dakshin Flavours – Reliving the Magic of Coastal Kitchen’, the menu has been specially designed to showcase Andhra-style delicacies alongside a variety of flavours from South Indian cuisine. Traditional spices and carefully selected cooking techniques have been used to preserve the original character of the dishes while presenting them in an appealing contemporary style.

Chef Sitaram Mulu, who has curated the special menu, said that maintaining authenticity was the foremost priority while preparing the dishes. “While designing the menu for ‘Dakshin Flavours’, our primary focus was on preserving the authentic flavours and traditional recipes. The ingredients and spices have been carefully balanced so that every dish retains its original taste and identity.
