TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙ STRIVE India, a premier Lucknow-based think tank, conferred Honorary Membership on Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, YSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C), Central Command, during a ceremony held at Headquarters Central Command, Lucknow.
The honor was presented by Maj Gen AK Chaturvedi, AVSM, VSM (Retd), Chairman of STRIVE India. Maj Gen Chaturvedi expressed his deep gratitude to Lt Gen Sengupta for his support to the think tank and his continued encouragement of informed professional discourse on national security and strategic affairs.
On this occasion, Maj Gen Chaturvedi also presented the Army Commander with a copy of STRIVE India's latest publication, ‘US-Iran War: Myth and Reality’, edited by Maj Gen Chaturvedi himself. Printed at APP and distributed by Universal Book Sellers, Lucknow, the ten-chapter volume delivers a comprehensive multi-dimensional analysis of contemporary conflict.

The presentation was followed by a high-level discussion on the strategic challenges being faced by India and the strategy which the Armed Forces need to adopt to get ready for future conflicts. The discussion focused on -the expanding application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and autonomous weapon systems in military operations, the evolving role of air power and high-technology warfare and how emerging capabilities are reshaping real-time battlefield awareness, command decision-making, and precision targeting.
