TIL Desk Lucknow:ЁЯСЙ A health and awareness camp was organized by the Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences at the 345 MLD Bharwara STP (Sewage Treatment Plant). Health check-ups were conducted for over 100 sanitation workers and staff members involved in STP and sewer operations. Screenings included checks for diabetes, blood pressure, and eye health, as well as weight and general physical health assessments. The medical team also encouraged the staff to adopt a healthy lifestyle and undergo regular health check-ups.

During the event, nursing students from the institute used a street play to inform sanitation workers about the necessary precautions to be taken during STP and sewer operations. The play conveyed messages regarding adherence to workplace safety rules, the importance of vigilance, and the correct way to respond during emergencies.

The street play specifically highlighted the importance of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) in the event of cardiac arrest. Workers were informed about how administering timely CPR during such emergencies can help save lives.
