* MD, UPMRC felicitates ‘Employees of the Month’ for August 2026
TIL Desk Lucknow:👉 Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) MD Sushil Kumar has felicitated employees for their outstanding performance during August 2026 with the ‘Employee of the Month’ award at the UPMRC Administrative Building in Gomti Nagar. For the month of August, woman security staff Mamta Tiwari was honoured for her honesty and prompt action in safely returning a passenger’s lost valuables.
On August 26, 2026, while on duty at CCS Airport Metro Station, Ms. Mamta found a black bag containing a Realme laptop, important files, ₹20,000 in cash, a purse and a speaker. She immediately handed over the bag to the Station Controller, following which the belongings were safely returned to the concerned passenger.
Her promptness and sense of responsibility ensured that the passenger’s valuable belongings were safely recovered. After receiving the belongings, the passenger appreciated Ms. Mamta’s honesty and dedication towards her duty.
SSO Sachin Kumar Singh and Train Operator Brajesh Kumar Yadav were also felicitated for their excellent professional performance in their respective areas of work.
Sachin contributed to making metro operations more organised and effective through his noteworthy work in various operational areas. His efforts helped improve the availability of essential information and coordination of tasks, thereby supporting smooth metro services for passengers.
Brajesh Kumar Yadav efficiently discharged his responsibilities in train operations while performing duties across all 21 stations of Lucknow Metro. He demonstrated punctuality, alertness and professional efficiency in the discharge of his duties.
