TIL Desk Lucknow/ Hindwi.org, an initiative of the Rekhta Foundation, successfully marked its third anniversary with a splendid celebration, ‘Hindwi Utsav, today, at the prestigious Sangeet Natak Akademi in Lucknow. The event witnessed a vibrant congregation of Hindi-speaking communities, literary enthusiasts, and distinguished personalities, making it an unforgettable affair that highlighted the brilliance of Hindi literature and culture.
The illustrious ‘Hindwi Utsav’ was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Shivmurti, renowned writer in Hindi Literature. During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Shivmurti shared his valuable insights on the importance of preserving and promoting Hindi literature, inspiring the audience with his profound words. He said, “In the times to come, literature will no longer be confined to paper, as technology has gone a long way. Rekhta and Hindwi have made the best use of this change by digitizing literature on such a large scale. I want to thank Sanjiv Saraf who started this venture. Today people invest in time for profit but I believe that investing in literature is the best use of money.”
The festival commenced with a captivating Panel Discussion – Kathin Samay me Kataksh . Chief guest Shivmurti, and other eminent experts Akhilesh, Shalini mathur and Mamta Singh engaged in enriching dialogues, creating an intellectual and stimulating atmosphere for all attendees.
The highlight of ‘Hindwi Utsav’ was the mesmerizing Kavita path, where celebrated poets Arun Kamal, Ajanta Dev, Kumar Ambuj, Savita Bharghav, Yash Malviya and Nazish Ansari showcased their literary prowess, leaving the audience spellbound. Their poetic expressions celebrated the depth of Hindi language, art, and emotions, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all present.
Following the poetry recital, the audience was treated to a soul-stirring musical performance by the renowned Shadaj Band. Their masterful renditions enthralled the gathering, creating an ambiance of musical brilliance that resonated with the spirit of ‘Hindwi Utsav.’
