Trained in Pahadi cuisine by her mother-in-law and local experts, she considers MasterChef India as her gateway to showcasing her talent and realizing her dreams. If she wins… Nidhi aspires to open cafes in Shimla and Solan, taking her community’s palate forward.
Nambie Jessica S. Marak, a dynamic 30-year-old from Meghalaya, driven by her passion for Northeastern cuisine. She aspires to leave her mark on MasterChef India, showcasing the rich culinary traditions of her region on the grand stage. Nambie, hailing from Upper Rangsa, Meghalaya, is the principal and owner of Sunbeam Foundation School, she effortlessly dons multiple hats. Her journey is nothing short of inspiring, having transitioned from teaching communication skills in Chennai to nurturing young minds in the serene landscapes of Meghalaya.
Nambie Jessica Marak also runs ‘Eat Your Kappa’, a YouTube channel documenting the various food and culture of the northeast. Nambie’s passion for cooking has been a constant since childhood, and she finds pure joy in culinary experimentation. Her husband serves as the ever-willing taste-tester for her delectable creations. An ardent MasterChef enthusiast, Nambie nurtures a dream of showcasing the diverse and vibrant culinary heritage of Northeastern India.
