Industrial oils gain on good demand

TIL Desk/Business/Mumbai/ Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following good demand from soaps and shippers industries.

While, refined palmolein eased due to subdued demand from retail buying. Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.

In the non-edible section, castor seeds bold moved up by Rs 5 per 100 kg to Rs 4,640 from Friday’s close at Rs 4,635 and castor oil commercial inched up by Rs 958 per 10 kg.

Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 780 per 10 kg. Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 550 as against Rs 552 yesterday and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 960 per 10 kg.
