TIL Desk/National/Mandya-Protesters gathered in large numbers and staged massive protests and demonstrations in various regions of Karnataka after Supreme Court’s ordered Karnataka government to release 15,000 cusec of water from Cauvery River to Tamil Nadu for the next 10 days. Due to the growing protest, a bandh is being observed in Mandya. In recent updates, Jai Karnataka activists vandalized the PWD office in Mandya whereas at other places, protesters vandalized hoardings.
The Karnataka state government has also banned visitors and tourists from entering the KRS dam and Brindavan Gardens near Mysuru till September 9.
