35 crew & 32 days: Miya, Biwi Aur Murder was shot at director Sunil Manchanda’s house reveals Manjari Fadnnis

TIL Desk Entertainment/ In a candid chat during the promotions of MX Originals Series Miya, Biwi Aur Murder, versatile actress Manjari Fadnnis shared how the series shoot was done during the pandemic. She said, “The shooting of the show was done at Sunil Manchanda’s (Producer & Director) home. He made sure the entire cast and crew were comfortable. Only 35 people were there on the set due to the pandemic and after the shot was done, it felt as if we were one family.”

Speaking of the same, Rajeev Khandelwal said, “There was only one location because of the pandemic, and it was our director Sunil Manchanda’s bungalow. It’s in Mumbai and took us around 32 days to complete the shoot. There were a lot of challenges like will we be able to complete the shoot on time, what if someone tests positive for Covid-19 and more. We undertook all the precautions and overcame all the obstacles.”

Commenting on bringing life to her character, Manjari Fadnnis said, “I personally tried to make it real. I didn’t feel the need to act funny. In fact, I am not even trying to act funny. The situations and scripts were just that way. I have just enjoyed myself on camera. And the camera has captured it all so beautifully.”

The captivating trailer gives a sneak peek into the troubled marriage life of Priya and Jayesh. As Priya and Jayesh (played by ManjariFadnnis and Rajeev Khandelwal, respectively) struggle in a dysfunctional marriage of seven years, their life takes an unexpected turn one night when they have to set aside their differences to stay alive.

Directed by Sunil Manchanda, the series also stars Rushad Rana, Ashmita Bakshi and Prasad Khandekar in pivotal roles and will premiere on 1st July 2022, exclusively on MX Player.
