TIL Desk Bollywood/ Bollywood star Alia Bhatt has been voted as the Sexiest Asian Female for the year 2019, with fellow actor Deepika Padukone being crowned sexiest for the decade in an online poll released in London on Wednesday.
Topping the annual list, released by UK-based weekly ‘Eastern Eye’, rounds off a dream year for Alia Bhatt, which included acting awards as well as starring in India’s official 2020 Oscar entry ‘Gully Boy’. “I’ve always believed that true beauty goes beyond what is seen and that is what really counts,” said Bhatt, who said she was “flattered” by the votes.
“We’ll grow older, our appearances will change, but a good heart will always keep you beautiful and that is really what we should focus on,” said the 26-year-old actress. The Sexiest Asian Female list is based on online votes, media coverage, impact and heat generated across various social media platforms.
