In Lucknow for Their Next Kaand: Ravi Kishan, Ravii Dubey and Zoya Afroz visit the City of Nawabs

TIL Desk Bollywood/ MX Player has brought its viewers, Matsya Kaand, a thriller-con genre that is lesser explored on Indian OTT. This 11 episodic series is all about resourcefulness, planning, presence of mind, and thinking on your feet. As part of the promotions for this web series, the lead actors – Ravii Dubey, Ravi Kishan and Zoya Afroz visited Delhi to spread the excitement amongst their fans.

Spread across Delhi, Meerut, Sambhar and Jaipur, this is the story of an honourable con artist, Matsya Thada (Ravii Dubey) who conducts his kaand with aptitude, intelligence, and charm rather than using his brawn. As the story proceeds, the use of disguise, technical know-how, and networking advances comes to the fore and highlights how Matsya pulls off cons in a modern world.

Talking about his role and journey on being a part of this con-thriller, Ravii Dubey said, “Preparing for this layered role and juggling between these incredible avatars has been one-of-a-kind journey for me. This role has been fulfilling and has pushed me to test my strengths and versatility. I hope my fans enjoy watching this series as much I enjoyed working on it.”

Speaking of the same, Ravi Kishan mentioned, “I am playing the role of a shrewd cop who has a streak of stubbornness and the drive to always get the job done. My fans enjoy watching me play eccentric roles and ACP Tejraj, with his dialoguebaazi and dare devil attitude is sure to appeal to the viewers. This show has a little bit of everything for everybody whether its action, comedy or drama and I hope the audience showers the series with their love.”

Zoya Afroz also shared her excitement and said, “I’m glad to be a part of a new and exciting show on MX Player. I feel honored sharing screen space with such brilliant talent. It was a fun and an interesting experience to think like a con artist. This series really gave me an opportunity to explore something different and I hope the viewers look forward to our ‘kaands’”.
