The film is continuously getting appreciation from celebrities and people are also discussing this true incident on social media. But recently there was a rumor that the film is fictional. Now the film’s actress Pallavi Joshi has reacted strongly to the rumors of imaginary content being shown.
Speaking at a press conference in Lucknow, Pallavi Joshi said, “We went across the world, USA, UK, Germany, Singapore, Jammu and Kashmir, Pune, Thailand, Delhi, wherever we found the first family of the victim whose father was murdered. Whose mother was raped, children who saw their parents getting murdered in front of their eyes.. We have met those people.”
Talking about her experience of interviewing the families of the victims of the exodus, Pallavi said, “When we went for our first interview we knew that the subject’s father had been murdered, but did not know that How did it happen. When we went there, he welcomed us with joy and great hospitality. When we sat down for the interview, he told everything from his happy childhood to the sad incident.
The actress revealed that her husband spent years doing research for the film and that she has nearly 4000 hours of research videos. Talking about her father’s death, she (daughter) said that she was shot dead and cut into 50 pieces and dumped in a sack. When the sack came out after 2-3 days, he identified the body with a piece of his ID card on the body. It is worth mentioning that Pallavi Joshi has played the role of Professor Radhika Menon, who believes in ‘Kashmir Cause’.
