TIL Desk Entertainment/ COLORS’ popular show ‘Suhaagan’ has captivated the viewers with its riveting tale of Bindiya, carrying out all the household chores for her extended family that mistreats her and her sister Payal. The story of the two sisters took an exciting leap of 10 years, bringing a whirlwind of changes to the characters’ journeys. Following the leap, 23-year-old Bindiya is essayed by beautiful debutant Garima Kishnani, and 21-year-old Payal is essayed by the gorgeous actor Anshula Dhawan.
The show has welcomed a new character Krishna played by the talented actor Raghav Thakur embodying the role of a 23-year-old rich brat, who believes in living life without responsibilities. To celebrate the phenomenal response to the family drama, the lead actors Raghav Thakur (playing Krishna) and Anshula Dhawan (playing Payal) visited the City of Nawabs, Lucknow. While spreading the word about its post-leap storyline, the actors not only took a trip to the iconic tourist spots of the city but also sampled a few popular delicacies.
In the current story track, Payal reveals her love interest to her sister Bindiya. On the other hand, Bindiya continues to decline a marriage proposal and the suitor is none other than Krishna, Payal’s beau. Upon finding this out, a shattered Payal is ready to spin a web of deceits. Will Bindiya rise above the schemes of her sister and retain her right as Krishna’s suhaagan?
Sharing her thoughts on promoting the show, Anshula Dhawan (Payal) says, “I want to thank the people of Lucknow for showing us a lot of love as we revealed glimpses of Suhaagan’s story following the leap. This was my first visit to the city, but I think that it won’t be my last. I have enjoyed Lucknowi delicacies and explored few architectural marvels like Bara Imambara and Rumi Darwaza. The post-leap story aims to transport viewers to Bindiya and Payal’s world as they navigate their lives and relationships. It’s incredible that our hard work towards this endeavour has paid off.”
Commenting on the show’s promotional spree Raghav Thakur (Krishna) says, “It was wonderful to have explored Lucknow and spread the word about ‘Suhaagan’. I felt an instant connection with this city that treasures its heritage and stories that are rooted in its culture. To have its people appreciate our show means a lot to me. I’m ecstatic about being part of a story that sheds light on how relationships change with time and circumstances.”
