TIL Desk Jaunpur:Jeevan Jyoti Seva Foundation of Block Suithakala Shahganj Jaunpur has started a unique initiative, the organization took the initiative to provide free bath in Maha Kumbh to economically weaker people on 17 February. In the sequence of this initiative, one thousand people were flagged off for free Maha Kumbh Snan Yatra by 20 buses from Gurbari Chauraha Shahganj Jaunpur to Prayagraj Teerth at 6:00 am today under the leadership of Vice President of Jeevan Jyoti Seva Foundation Jitendra Kumar Singh.
The organization has not only provided free bus travel to the pilgrims of Jaunpur district, but has also arranged for their food and accommodation. On this occasion, Vice President of Jeevan Jyoti Seva Foundation Jitendra Kumar Singh said that he saw that many people want to take bath in Maha Kumbh, but are not able to go due to financial constraints. Keeping this in mind, he started this initiative.
The foundation aims to provide an opportunity to bathe in Maha Kumbh to about 5000 people of Jaunpur district by February 26. People who have benefited from this initiative of Jeevan Jyoti Seva Foundation are praising Jitendra Singh a lot. This initiative has become a great example of social service, due to which poor and needy people are getting an opportunity to participate in an important religious event like Maha Kumbh.
