TIL Desk/National/Pune-The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Saturday said the ban on its members joining the government service is ‘unjust and undemocratic’, adding that it does not affect the morale of its workers as they do not work with the state’s support.
“Banning RSS members to join govt service is unjust and undemocratic. Such bans hardly affect work and morale of RSS Swayamsevaks,” All India Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, Manmohan Vaidya said in a statement.
Vaidya also said the move of banning the government employees to participate in RSS programmes has already been proved ‘unconstitutional’ by courts in multiple cases. “RSS does not work through state power or with the support of it. RSS works among the people, with the people and for the people,” he added.
