TIL Desk Tellywood/ After surviving numerous challenges and stiff competition for 105 days in the Bigg Boss 11 house, Shilpa Shinde has emerged the winner of the popular reality show. Host Salman Khan made the announcement amid much drama and entertainment.
Shilpa beat the other finalist Hina Khan and walked away with the trophy and a prize money of Rs 44 lakh. Puneesh Sharma was the first to be eliminated among the four finalists. Next, Akshay Kumar came up to announce Vikas Gupta’s elimination.
Shilpa has always topped the popularity chart during this season, which reached its height at a Mumbai mall recently, when the four finalists visited it to test their real fan power.
It’s been a close fight between Shilpa and Hina, who has also been very popular on the show. Shilpa had an interesting journey inside the house. She entered the show as the most controversial contestant and became the Kitchen Queen.
