TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ Amid high drama, sacked Aam Aadmi party (AAP) minister Kapil Mishra was on Friday stopped from entering Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Mishra reportedly went there to attend the Delhi CM’s ‘Janata Darbar’ alongwith his close aides.
Mishra later alleged that he wanted to meet Kejriwal to ask him “why he is not sacking health minister Satyendar Jain”. After being denied permission to meet Kejriwal, Mishra and his supporters later staged a protest outside the Delhi CM’s residence.
Making fresh allegations against Jain, Mishra had said on Thursday that Jain had purchased 80 acres in different parts of rural Delhi between 2013 and 2016.
He claimed that he was saying this on the basis of “findings of the income-tax department” which is probing his links with shell companies and hawala transactions.” However, his claims could not be verified.
