BJP will be back to power with absolute majority, says Amit Shah

TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ The BJP’s two-day national executive meeting, which was scheduled for today, has begun in Delhi’s Ambedkar International Centre. BJP president Amit Shah formally inaugurated the event with the national office bearers’ meeting. The actual national executive meeting is slated to begin at 3 pm.

According to reports, Shah at the BJP’s office-bearers meeting said, “We will come with an absolute majority. Sankalp ki shakti ko koi parajit nahi kar sakta,”. Shah gave the inaugural address today, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to deliver the valedictory address tomorrow (September 9) in the presence of top party leaders.

Speaking to the reporters, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain earlier said the executive will discuss all the topical issues. He, though, did not elaborate further. This will be the first such meeting of the BJP following the death of its stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The executive will pay tribute to the former prime minister, Hussain said.
