TIL Desk/National/Ralegan Siddhi-Continuing with his strong statements from yesterday, Anna Hazare has sent more shock waves into the political sphere today. In what can only be termed as a slam against Aam Aadmi Party founder, Arvind Kejriwal, Hazare today has said that he had seen the goodness in Kejriwal and thought that he’d do something for India.
However, Hazare said, that when Kejriwal formed the AAP, the India Against Corruption team broke up and the nation has suffered. Anna expressed his sorrow and said that had team Anna and India Against Corruption not broken up, there would have been a definite change in the country.
AAP leaders had yesterday tried to brush off some of Hazare’s comments including his explicit declaration of losing hope on Kejriwal, as constructive criticism. Anna Hazare had yesterday said that he was “very saddened to see” that some of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s colleagues have gone to jail, while some others are “indulging in fraud”. Hazare commented, “I am very hurt…When he (Kejriwal) was with me, he wrote a book on gram swaraj…Will we call this gram swaraj?
