TIL Desk/National/New Delhi/ Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announces that all Delhi households consuming 200 units or less power will now get a Zero Bill every month. A 50 per cent subsidy for those using 201 to 400 units of power.
Kejriwal said there was a reduction in electricity rates because power companies are in better financial health and infrastructure has improved. “Delhi gets the cheapest power in India. 24-hour power supply is being provided to the people of Delhi,” he added.
Assembly polls in Delhi are expected to be held in February next year. The Aam Aadmi Party has decided to not form a political alliance “anywhere in the country” as the idea of associating with the Congress for the Lok Sabha election earlier this year went against it.
