The trailer of the much-awaited web series “Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar” Season 2 has been released, offering viewers a glimpse into a story intertwined with love, power, politics, and unresolved emotions. The series is set to premiere on JioHotstar on June 19, 2026.
In the second season, actor Dhaval Thakur reprises his role as Kuldeep Kumar. According to the trailer, Kuldeep will be seen grappling with the mistakes of his past and emotional turmoil, while getting entangled in the complex world of politics and power, leading his life in unexpected directions.
Actress Sanchita Basu also returns as Shanvika Chauhan. This season, Shanvika appears stronger and more influential than ever before. As she navigates the corridors of power, she is seen redefining relationships and viewing love and trust from a new perspective.
The trailer showcases political conflict, simmering revenge, and intense emotional confrontations. Set against the backdrop of Sitaarpur, the story revolves around ambition, betrayal, and the struggle for power, placing Kuldeep and Shanvika on opposing sides. Speaking about Season 2, Sanchita Basu said that Shanvika’s character is far more layered and emotionally challenging this time. According to her, the meaning of love changes when power and betrayal come into play, and every emotion carries consequences.
Dhaval Thakur said that Kuldeep spends the season carrying the burden of his past. He described the character as emotionally conflicted, constantly torn between personal feelings and societal expectations. He added that while the scale of the new season has grown significantly, its emotional core remains as authentic as ever.
