TIL Desk Lucknow:👉On 13th July 2024, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow, organized its third convocation ceremony. The Vice-Chancellor warmly welcomed all the distinguished guests on this occasion. The Chief Guest, Chief Justice of India, D.Y. Chandrachud, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court, Arun Bhansali, and Cabinet Minister for Higher Education, Yogendra Upadhyay, along with other esteemed personalities, were present at the ceremony.
In his address, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the university’s glorious journey of 18 years, mentioning that during this period, the university has dedicated more than 250 judicial officers, IAS officers, and other public service officials to the nation.
Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud extended his best wishes to the students and praised the university’s contributions to the field of law. He also encouraged the promotion of legal education in regional languages. Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath addressed the students about the importance of education and inspired them to work for justice and the nation’s welfare.
The Chief Justice of Allahabad High Court blessed the students with inspiring words. Following this, Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Shri Chandrachud, formally inaugurated the ceremony and awarded gold medals to students excelling in various university programs.

This was the university’s third convocation ceremony, held after a gap of 9 years. Approximately 2000 students were awarded degrees, including 68 Ph.D. students, 182 diploma students, 200 LL.M. students, and 1448 B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) students. Medals and degrees were also presented to other students by Hon’ble Education Minister, Shri Yogendra Upadhyay, former Vice-Chancellor Professor Balraj Chauhan, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj, Professor Usha Tandon, Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Amarpal Singh, Professor Sanjay Singh, and Professor Vandana Singh.
